My future plans include attending Northwestern University in Alva, Ok for four years gaining my general business degree. I hope to spend these years getting a good education along with experience to get a supportive job out of college. Shortly after graduating college I hope to go back and get my masters. At the moment unsure what I want to do, I hope in my future I do come to a decision. I do hope to find my future husband and have a few rascals running around. My main goal is be financially stable and live a happy life always supporting the Chiefs!
Family
forI am one of a family of six and the last of four daughters. I have grown up being the youngest and if you have heard rumors about us babies being spoiled , yes, they are true. My mom, Kim, is a fourth grade teacher in the Caldwell Elementary. My dad, Brian, he is a Kanokla technician here in Caldwell Kansas. I have 3 sisters Laurel, Avery, and Madison. My oldest sister is an officer in the Army stationed in the warmth of Texas, Avery is a Registered Nurse at Via Christi in Wichita, and Madison is a student at Emporia State majoring in Education. I also have two dogs, Lilly and Sadie, dogs have always been my favorite growing up. To most people, dogs are just pets for a family to have, but for me my dogs have always been a part of our family and to me family is just another word for best friends.
Extra-Curricular Activities
I participate in Volleyball, Basketball, Track, School Play, Math Relays, FCCLA, FCA, NHS, and Bluejay Outlet. I try every year to participate in as much as I can, because I know that you are only in school for so long and after you graduate you have choices you have to make, and participating in fun activities with your friends is not one of them. I don't have free time very often, but when I do I like to spend time with my family or, don't judge, watch Hallmark movies. I hope these habits of having fun and keeping busy never change.
Life on the farm
Two years ago I was asked to help with wheat harvest on Turek Farms. I did warn everyone that I knew nothing about farming, at first they didn't believe, but I think they got the hint when I called a combine a grain cart. One year later I was working full time during the summer and I'm sure you can guess that yes, I did figure out what was a grain cart. That summer I worked many new machines and learned a lot about the agriculture industry that I never knew before. I never thought in a million years I would ever work on a farm but I did and I wouldn't have changed that for anything.
